DESCRIPTION:HELP US RIDE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH \nREGISTER NOW \nOur next annual “Ride For Medical Research” will take place 22nd – 27th March 2026\, celebrating 40 years of fundraising. In 40 years of fundraising bike rides\, Rotary districts 9810 and 9820 have raised $2\,476\,285.00 for medical research and support. Uniting in 2024 to form District 9815\, the ride events continue to raise much needed funds for medical research\, last year raising $50\,861.00\, included in the above total. \nRegistration for this popular fundraising event is now open\, with strictly limited places\, so get in early to secure your place. Having now raised over $1.32 million for Australian Rotary Health\, we look forward to pushing this to over $1.4milion in the near future. \nThis will be the first ride organised under the banner of D9815. \nRegistration for this popular fundraising event is now open\, with strictly limited places\, so get in early to secure your place. (Cost for riders is $998.00\, support crew/drivers $800.00) \nJoin us for the “Ruby Ramble” 2025\, Baddaginnie to Benalla.                                       \nApproximately 580km over 6 days \nDay 1: Baddaginnie – Wangaratta- 76km \nDay 2: Wangaratta-Chiltern-Rutherglen Loop-98km \nDay 3: Wangaratta-Yackandandah-Myrtleford Loop – 125km \nDay 4: Wangaratta-Yarrawonga Loop – 115km \nDay 5: Wangaratta-Milawa-Eldorado Loop – 100km \nDay 6: Wangaratta-Glenrowan-Benalla – 64km \n(Distances subject to change due to road/traffic conditions.) \nThe ride this year will be centred around the greater Wangaratta region\, taking in many of the towns in the area. SUMMARY:12hr Static Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of Blacktown City Inc. is hosting a 12-hour static bike ride to raise awareness and funds for mental health research. All funds raised will be donated to Australian Rotary Health. The event will be held at 10:00am-10:00pm\, Saturday 16 September 2023 at Ballroom\, Blacktown Workers Club (Campbell Street\, Blacktown). \nIf you can’t attend in person\, a link will be shared to join via Zoom closer to the day! In the link in our BIO\, Community Service Chair\, Mel Gray OAM\, talks about the event and the importance of getting involved. As Mel says\, ‘Keep smiling\, keep happy but above all keep positive’.
