I have been accepted to study the post graduate diploma in Critical Care Nursing which has been a career goal since I started nursing.    This course will assist my current clinical skills from working in the Intensive Care Unit and I hope to someday work towards retrieval nursing.

In order to become a retrieval nurse you must have critical care qualifications and have a minimum of five years experience working in an Extensive Care or Emergency departments.   The Emergency Medical Retrieval team provide care and transport to those living in remote area across Australia.   Therefore, by continuing my education I believe I can provide the best possible care and hope to have the chance to one day reach out to Aboriginal communities, and provide medical treatment.
